Recovery and visiting

Kade came via c-section after 12 hours of labor (at the hospital anyway!!!)

I got to the hospital at about 2:30 in the morning and was immediately hooked up to pain meds. I progressed quickly to an 8 and then everything but the contractions stopped. The doctor had to break my water. Shortly thereafter, I ended up with an infection. With Kade being stuck (he was a big kid!!!) and my infection they opted to do a c-section to make sure we would both be both okay.
